• New security resources page

As always, dial 911 for any serious emergency. For everything else, we’ve gathered the security resources available to Ridge homeowners in one place: the new Security Information page, which you’ll now find in the menu at the top of this site.

    Here’s a quick look at what’s there.

F-Dub Security Services is our contracted security patrol. Call them to report suspicious activity or security concerns in the neighborhood.

Eyes on Federal Way is a great resource for non-emergency problems around the city: potholes, abandoned shopping carts, garbage in the streets, street maintenance, street light requests, downed trees, and other quality-of-life issues. The app uses GPS to recognize your location, gives you a menu of common issue types to select from, and lets you upload pictures with your request. You can also track the status of reports submitted by you or other members of the community.

Privacy note: Posts on Eyes on Federal Way are not anonymous by default. If you would like to keep your name off the public report, be sure to select “Yes” when asked if you want to hide your identity.

The How would you like to submit this request screen, with the Hide your identity option selected so your username and email stay hidden from the public

Location note: The map pin defaults to your current location, not where your photo was taken. If you snap a picture at the scene but submit the report later from home, the pin will land on your house unless you move it. Before publishing, double check that the pin is placed on the location of the issue you are reporting.

The Select a Location screen in Eyes on Federal Way, showing the orange map pin that you drag to the location of the issue before confirming

You can also call departments directly at City Hall for information on any municipal service, or to report a problem within city limits.

    Quick reference

    Stay safe, everyone!

  • 2026 National night out at the Ridge!

We’re excited to bring Ridge neighbors together for our annual National Night Out celebration on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the Big Park Pavilion.

National Night Out is a wonderful opportunity to strengthen our sense of community, get to know neighbors, and build connections that make The Ridge such a special place to call home. It’s also part of a nationwide initiative that encourages partnerships between communities and local public safety organizations.

Dinner is covered! We’ll be providing pizza and bottled water for everyone to enjoy. We invite each household to bring a favorite dessert or appetizer to share, whether homemade or store bought, sweet or savory, every contribution is appreciated.

To help everyone stay comfortable, please bring folding chairs, as pavilion seating is limited.

Whether you’re a longtime resident or new to the neighborhood, National Night Out is the perfect chance to meet neighbors, catch up with friends, and enjoy a fun summer evening together.

We hope to see you there for a great night of food, community, and connection!
