A friendly reminder: Pick up after your pets

A friendly reminder: Pick up after your pets

We’ve noticed more uncollected dog waste around the Ridge, and we’re asking for everyone’s help to keep our community clean and enjoyable for all.

We’ll be addressing this issue at the Annual Meeting on Wednesday, we hope you’ll join us. Afterward, we’ll send out a reminder with clear expectations:

  • Always pick up after your pets
  • Use the bags at our two pet waste stations (which will be restocked regularly)
  • Report ongoing issues to the Board—photos help!

If you see someone not picking up after their dog, consider speaking up in the moment, kindly but firmly. If the issue continues, please report it to the Board. A photo can be helpful in identifying repeat violations so we can follow up and take appropriate action.

We’re also working to understand whether the issue involves Ridge residents, visitors, or both, so we can respond appropriately without creating conflict between neighbors.

Let’s all do our part to keep the Ridge clean, respectful, and welcoming.

Welcome to our neighborhood

The Ridge is a single-family housing development of 229 homes located in Federal Way, Washington (King County). The neighborhood is managed by The Ridge Homeowners’ Association. Our neighborhood is conveniently located near the King County Aquatics Center, The Federal Way Community Center, Virginia Mason Medical Center, St. Francis Hospital, and just minutes to local shopping and Interstate 5.

The neighborhood houses two parks, a tennis/pickleball court, basketball court, playground, posts for volleyball setup, and a BBQ pavilion. Sidewalks throughout our neighborhood make it a safe place for children and families to walk.

Our mission is to preserve and enhance the value of the private and common properties that are The Ridge, and endeavor to bring our community together.
